Where the Traffic is Small, but Crypto Rates Are Very European. Portugal

Portugal: General overview

As of 2023, there are just over 10 million residents in the country. The number is steadily decreasing, due to both low birth rates and emigration to richer European countries.

• The Portuguese have a very negative attitude toward comparing themselves to anyone, especially the Spanish. There is no bad attitude towards the Spaniards, just that the Portuguese consider themselves as a selected unique nation and do not tolerate comparisons. And since Spain is the only land neighbor, this comparison hurts the most;
• The country is very religious, about 90% of the population is Catholic;
• Carelessness and sluggishness are the characteristics of an average Portuguese. Not giving a damn at work is quite a casual thing to see because people are paid for the time they work;
• The south of the country is the poorest region. It would probably be a good idea to exclude it from your targeting settings.

At the same time, the rich-life trigger is weaker in Portugal than in most countries. It is not common here to buy expensive things and, even less so, to brag about them. Better emphasize family values: education for children, family trips, a nice big house.
